Associate / Senior Associate – Capital Markets – Industrial & Logistic

CCO Group have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Associate or Senior Associate to join a leading multidisciplinary property firm in their prestigious industrial and logistics – capital markets team. Our client has over 12 offices UK wide and known as a true market leader in what they do. This role is designed to enhance the firm’s leading position within the market.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base across some of the world’s largest investors and developers. The Industrial and Logistics division a very close-knit team that provide a dedicated investment consultancy to investors and developers across industrial, offices, retail and alternative markets, advising on acquisition and disposal.

What is my client looking for?

An experienced Surveyor (ideally MRICS but not essential) with demonstrable experience within the Industrial & Logistics market, in either agency, development, investment or valuation. You will have a strong technical capability with a clear understanding of what drives value in Real Estate. Typical Duties will include but not limited to:

  • An interest in the development process, from land acquisition through to delivering new buildings
  • Proactive, with the ability to build own network as well as maintain strong existing relationships
  • The ability to efficiently manage your own workload with minimum supervision, dealing with and progressing instructions using personal initiative and professional/technical knowledge
  • Planning and prioritising skills to schedule work and ensure its timely completion, taking into account conflicting deadlines
  • Supervise and delegate to more junior team members where appropriate
  • Mentor and guide graduate and newly qualified surveyors

The ideal candidate will have:

  • MRICS qualified (ideally)
  • Essential to have experience within the Industrial & Logistics market – agency, development, investment, valuation
  • Personable individual with a commitment to excellence and developing strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills including problem solving and an inquisitive mind
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail and first-rate report writing ability
  • Knowledge of Argus Developer would be preferential

  • A degree of flexibility in order to move from one task to another without a loss of productivity
  • Willingness to travel throughout UK for work purposes, but be based out of London. Driving licence essential
