HIRE DESK MANAGER

  • Manage hire desk enquiries from existing and potential customers
  • Supervise additional hire desk controller
  • Maintain allocation of plant to meet customer requirements
  • Administration of equipment inspection sheets and relevant certificates
  • Timely issue of hire contracts and supporting documentation
  • Arranging transport to and from site.
  • Liaising with Transport companies including: Obtaining quotations, booking hire of transport checking of haulage contractor invoices etc.
  • Operating the hire fleet control software including: recording the availability of units, recording of transport and consumable costs, etc.
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Liaising with both customers and suppliers
  • Obtain and action all customer and site requests
  • Arranging plant movements
  • Issuing purchase orders
  • Issuing invoices
  • Completing reports as requested by Director or customers.
