Are you keen to work for a housebuilder who is actually eager to buy sites, and with cash to spend? CCO Group have been asked by a housebuilder based in South London to find a Land Buyer/Manager to join the existing team to help build their pipeline of sites without Planning for Care Home use within London and the Home Counties. The role will be to find sites and opportunities for both planning gain and to build out, and to assist in managing projects through planning with external consultants.
The schemes they develop vary but typically will be private residential of c25-100 units, care homes of c60-80 beds or doing package deals with RPs. For this reason, our client is looking to find someone adaptable, with either Care Home experience or an interest in doing it.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Site searching and identifying a variety of opportunities
- Land appraisals, and viability and feasibility studies
- Negotiating contracts and dealing with due diligence and Heads of Terms
- Building relationships with landowners, agents and other stakeholders to seek on and off-market opportunities
- Collaborating with colleagues and external consultants to get sites through planning
The selected candidate will ideally:
- Have a strong track record within London and or the Southern Home Counties, or be hungry to buy sites you have less experience
- Have an interest in the Care Homes sector
- Be a self-starter with energy and drive with a mindset to succeed and deliver
- Be commercially aware with excellent interpersonal skills
- Be a good team player, and have an ambitious nature
