Valuation Surveyor

CCO Group have been retained by a industry-leading property consultancy in order to assist in their search for a Valuation Surveyor to join their growing Valuation Team. This is an opportunity for you to work with some well-established individuals within the industry which well help expand your knowledge and experience, they also have a very family-orientated approach making it an ideal environment to work in. The team you will be joining consists of 3 Directors and 1 Qualified Surveyor as well as a few consultants who work on a shared fee basis. Majority of their clients are high street lenders with most of the work being predominantly valuation for loan security purposes

Our client is very flexible and willing to consider candidates on a full-time or part-time basis or alternatively as a consultant. They are considering candidates at all levels – From Newly Qualified Surveyor up to Associate Director.

Responsibilities

  • Valuation of commercial and residential property on a regular basis (typically monthly or quarterly)
  • Inspecting client properties
  • Carrying out due diligence enquiries
  • Taking ownership and responsibility for a portfolio of properties
  • Reporting to clients and colleagues and keeping in regular contact with investment and agency teams Attend
  • regular meetings with clients
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the investment and occupational markets in all sectors

What You Need:

  • MRICS Qualified – RICS Registered Valuer
  • High attention to detail, well organised and a good initiative level
  • Strong verbal, numerical and report writing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An ability to utilise varying methods of valuation
  • Computer literate – you will be expected to be conversant with Excel, Word, Argus (Investor and Developer)
